About Me
I was born in São Paulo and raised in a small city nearby where I always had opportunity to participate in vast options of recreation. I always loved to explore and learn new things – and I always had a lot of support and encouragement from my parents and family to do so – and because of that, I became chronically curious.
When I was young I gathered with some friends and led us to train Parkour. That time planted a seed that teached me that not everything is about competition and everyone can cheer for the conquests of others – yes, this part is about leadership.
I used to sell pirated DVDs from professional wrestling shows on the internet. I handled eveything: The payments, downloading and converting everything into interactive DVDs, bough the discs and cases, printed the covers, talked to customers, etc – this is the part about entrepreneurship.
I went to college to study CS at the same time I was work as designer in a small agency and after a while I decided to drop out of college because we were not allowed to use a computer in the classroom. I changed my job and went to work as Interface Developer at IBM. After a sabatic year studying what I wanted and why not graphic design, right? I learned a lot and developed a very keen eye for details. I also finished a postgraduate in Software Engineering in 2021.
I enjoy a good and detailed manual work and that influences my work a lot – that's why i love the word Craftsmanship.. My Jira is always organized, up-to date and as detailed as possible so everyone involved can see and understand what is happening.
While pursuing all those details I learned how I could everything I need to learn, study and practice so i could put this work into deliberate practice.
My friends say i'm the on to go to ask for a nice local place to eat, a good coffee to brew – and how to –, a good band to get to know or even a good movie.
